| a) | ACCESSING the track directly will "skip" the index-0 area. |
| b) | If the playback is
started with a previous track, the previous will be "normally" played at first.
As soon as the index-0 area is reached the new track number will be displayed;
the time display is negative on most CD-Players. If the index-0 area contains
20s of music the time display will show a playing time from -20 to 0. ATTENTION: Some CD-Players display only "0:00" on index-0 - in this case the display will show "0:00" for 20 seconds. |
| c) | As mentioned
the position of index 1 is stored in the CD's directory and track times are calculated
from the position within the CD's directory. Therefore the index-0 area is always
"added" to the previous track. Example: Track 1: 3 minutes Track 2: 5 minutes altogether, 30 seconds of it index-0 music After burning you will get the following directory: Track 1: 3:30 Track 2: 4:30 |
| d) | ATTENTION: The "Remaining track time" display of the CD-Player will not work correctly in this case. A CD-Player always calculates the remaining track time from the difference of the starting position (index of the next track minus the current position - so the index-0 part of the next track will be "included". |
