Feurio Questions & Answers - General questions on the Feurio! CD-Manager:
Copying from CDs with linked tracks?

Question: I have got a CD with tracks which are linked (e.g. live recording, mix). Can I copy/edit this with Feurio!® without pauses being inserted between the tracks?

Answer: Yes:
  1. When copying directly (CD copy in the Feurio!® CD-Writer), all pauses are accepted directly; if there were no pauses on the original CD, none will be inserted in the target CD.

  2. If the files are read using the Feurio!® CD-Manager: the tracks have to be read "in one go", i.e. select ALL tracks required and then press "copy". Then select "Auto-Detect linked Tracks" as mode - in this case Feurio!® will automatically recognize that the tracks are linked. If the automatic recognition should not work, then you can force it to read linked tracks by selecting "Read Tracks coherently". Tracks read like this are marked by a "<" in front of the track number (apart from the 1 track). This sign shows that the two tracks are linked. Feurio!® never inserts a pause between two linked tracks.

Comment: Linked tracks can only be burned on a CD writer which supports a recording in "Disc-at-Once" mode.
