Explanation Of The Single Terms:

• Manufacturer:
  The name of the manufacturer

• Name:
  The name of the CD-ROM

  
  

• Audio Speed:
  The actual achieved speed when reading audio information, including possible required jitter correction.
  A statement of the form "9.4 (6.3 - 12.5)" means, that an average read speed of 9.4x has been achieved, with an minimum read speed of only 6.3x (usually at the start of the CD). The maximum read speed (usually at the end of the CD) has been 12.5x.

• Jitter:
  "Yes": The drive delivers the information with jitter errors, therefore Feurio!® has to perform jitter correction!
  "No": The drive delivers the information without jitter errors.

• Correct:
  "Yes": The drive delivers correct audio information.
  "No": The drive can read audio information, but the information are not completely correct (e.g. different information at each read operation)
  NOTE: This ONLY refers - with CD-Writers - to the READING of audio information. I..e. "No" means only that the writer is not able to READ audio information correctly - this says nothing about WRITING information. Notes about WRITING can be found on the page "Supported CD-Writers".

• CD-Text:
  Yes: The CD-ROM can read CD-Text information. For further informatin about CD-Text please see: "CD-Text".

• Index Marks:

  "Yes":	The drive can read index marks
  "Indirect":	The drive can read index marks only indirectly, i.e. the index marks can not be read by the particular read commands but has to be determined with a special algorithm after reading the information. For principle reasons the index marks can not be determined exactly, the index marks will be slightly shifted then.
  "No":	The drive can not read index information.

• C2-Errors:
  "Yes": The CD-ROM can return C2-Error Information. For further information about C2-Errors please see: "C2-Error Analysis".
  "No": The CD-ROM can not return C2-Error informatin or the drive is not yet known as being capable of returning C2-Error information.

• Data Speed:
  The speed when reading data CDs (according to the manufacturer; most drives will reach this speed only in the outer regions of the CD)

• Steppings:
  The speed steppings for reading audio information supported by the drive.
  "Not possible": The drive does not support changing the read speed.

• Comment:
  Special comment on this CD-ROM.
