Feurio ®Professional - IDE CD-Writer  

Unfortunately there is a well-known IDE specific problem with IDE CD-Writers:
THE IDE-BUS KNOWS NO DISCONNECT!
That is to say: While ONE command is processed, a possible 2nd device at the same bus is "locked", i. e. no commands can be sent to the 2nd device. First the command of the 1st device device has to be been processed before a command can be sent to the 2nd device.
So if 2 writers are attached to the same IDE-Bus both CD-Writers will thus obstruct each other - in most cases a buffer underrun will occur or rather most of the time the 2nd write process won´t even start.

RESULT: IDE CD-Writers can only be used problem-free with Feurio! Professional if each IDE CD-Writer is SEPARATELY attached to a single IDE-Channel. If you really want to use the "Multiple CD-Writer Feature" of Feurio! Professional on a system with IDE CD-Writers we recommend upgrading your system with further IDE-Busses by adding IDE-Adapters.
If two IDE CD-Writers are attached to the same IDE-Channel this will usually NOT work (of course it may work in some isolated cases, but we strictly do NOT recommend this; support questions concerning problems with several IDE CD-Writers on the same IDE-Channel can only be answered with: DO NOT attach IDE CD-Writers to the same IDE-Channel!)
